Y.E.S. Uganda – Who We Serve

"27 Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us."
James 1:27

Ideally, childhood should be a happy time of positive learning and growth, but for children in developing countries, the reality is often grim. Many of these children spend their childhood struggling every day, without hope for a secure, healthy future. Limited access to education, especially for girls, leads to diminished chances at a successful future for vast numbers of African children.

Y.E.S. Uganda’s mission is to aid African orphans who don’t have a place to live and are deprived of education and basic necessities. Through the work of the mission, these children have a portal of hope as they witness God’s true love through the many people around the world that care and pray for them as well as assist materially.

Our work based on donations and volunteering helps transform the grave poverty these orphaned children contend with into tangible hope for the future.
